Investors will be awaiting the news from China

Compumedics Ltd (ASX:CMP) recently entered into three-year distribution contracts with three existing, long-term, China-based, sleep and neuro-diagnostic and monitoring distributors.

The agreements are worth around A$15 million in minimum sales commitments over the next three years to the company.

In the next steps, Compumedics is now about to enter a material contract with a third party in China in relation to its Somfit consumer sleep technology.

The ASX has granted the company a trading halt to prepare, which will remain in place until the opening of trade on Thursday 31 May 2018, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.

This has the potential to alter the outlook for Compumedics.

Record sales

Compumedics took record sales orders in the first half of FY18 of $18.5 million.
