Voltaic Minerals Corp unveils director changes, including a new CFO

Voltaic Minerals Corp (CVE:VLT) unveiled director changes, including the appointment of a new finance chief  - Christopher Cooper -  who has  over 20 years' experience in the oil and gas, mining, and technology industries.

It comes after Jody Bellefleur resigned from her position as chief financial officer with effect from today (April 3).

Cooper replaces her and also becomes a board director to replace Dusan Berka who has resigned as director to pursue his other, long-term business interests.

Cooper has been involved in the creation and financing of several oil and gas firms, including Choice Resources Corp, an intermediate producer before it was taken over in August, 2007, by Buffalo Resources Corp.

He also sits on the board of other junior public companies, including CounterPath Corp, Westridge Resources In and Bullion Gold Resources Corp.

Also with effect from today,  Andrew Hallett joined the firm as director.

He is a commodity specialist with over 10 years of cross-commodity investment experience within investment banking, trading and asset management.

He is currently a partner within Rice Capital Partners.

His previous experience includes commodity investment roles within global markets at Deutsche Bank as a senior structured originator, and as a director at Natsource Asset Management.
