Kidman Resources Ltd (ASX:KDR) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX this morning, with its shares placed in pre-open.

Kidman requested the halt pending an update regarding the completion of transaction documentation in relation to the proposed 50:50 joint venture with Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile S.A.

The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Wednesday 13th September 2017, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
