Breaker Resources NL to lift cash balance following Kalgoorlie gold discovery

The halt will remain in place until Friday 25th August 2017.

Breaker shares are in pre-open

Breaker Resources NL (ASX:BRB) has been a standout performer on the ASX over the past year, with its shares recently hitting a high of $0.80, pushing the company into the $100 million market cap club.

The valuation is four times higher than a year ago, and driving the positive re-rating has been a greenfields gold discovery hidden by thin transported cover 100 kilometres east of Kalgoorlie.

Drilling highlights include: 7 metres at 61.78g/t gold; and 9 metres at 53.29g/t gold, supported by broader widths of: 24 metres at 7.75g/t gold; and 19 metres at 7.56g/t gold.

Drilling is underway with four rigs, and a maiden resource is planned by the end of 2017, providing the company with strong news flow.

Breaker has this morning entered a trading halt, pending details of a capital raising.

The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Friday 25th August 2017, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
