Spirit Telecom calls for halt to reveal acquisition

Spirit Telecom Ltd (ASX:ST1) is preparing to reveal details of an acquisition, and a subsequent capital raising, with the ASX granting the company a trading halt to prepare.

Spirit has recently been building revenue momentum, with customer receipts of $3.35 million in the June quarter 2017 to take the total for the year to $12.39 million.

The second half increase was 17% over the first half.

The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Friday 25th August 2017, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
