Hammer Metals Ltd assays silver, lead and cobalt at Millennium

Millennium is located close to the regional-scale Pilgrim Fault Zone which also hosts Hammer’s Kalman Copper-Gold-Molybdenum-Rhenium Deposit, 50 kilometres to the south.

Hammer drilled a total of 23 new reverse circulation holes at Millennium and extended two previous holes.

Highlights include:
-  6 metres at 39 g/t silver and 1.63% lead from 50 metres; and
- 8 metres at 0.35% cobalt and 0.08% copper from 128 metres (2.19% copper equivalent)

The results build on previous drilling conducted in the area and can now be used in the first mineral resource estimate for the project.

Hammer Metals also recently completed a 5-hole (506 metre) reverse circulation drilling program at its Scalper prospect.

Significant intersections from this program include 8 metres at 0.95% copper from 34 metres and 12 metres at 1.2% copper from 20 metres.

Hammer is currently drilling at the Overlander target within the Hammer - Newmont farm-in area.

The purpose of this program is to test for a large, bulk-tonnage copper-gold system in the vicinity of a gravity and magnetic anomaly to the west of the current Overlander copper resource.

It is anticipated that the first phase of drilling at Overlander will be complete by the end of November.
