Gold production continues to increase week on week, and month on month, at the Navigator Resources (ASX: NAV) Bronzewing Gold Project in Western Australia, with the company moving closer to the annual goal of 100,000 produced gold ounces.

November gold production of 7,600 gold ounces, surpassed the previous record month of October, with production increasing over even a more short term, with over 2,000 gold ounces poured each week in the last two weeks of November.

The increased production is due to an increased mill throughput, with 211,000 tonnes of ore treated for November.

Navigator will now target a 2.5 million tonne per annum mill throughput benchmark, with a strong possibility of achieving this due to the company's increasing ore stockpiles.

David Hatch, managing director, said “Although the first couple of weeks of gold production in November were lower due to limited ore blending options, we’ve really finished the month well, with successive record weeks in excess of 2,000oz of gold in each."

The open pit Bronzewing Gold Project is located in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, with an open pit mine life of 5 years, with a JORC reserve of; 6.32Mt at 1.9g/t gold for 385,000 gold ounces, and a JORC resource of; 13.65Mt at 2.1g/t gold for 946,000 gold ounces.

The project is in the Yandal Greenstone Belt, which has produced approximately 10 million ounces of gold in the last 20 years, mainly from three mining centres – Bronzewing, Jundee and Darlot.

Navigator completed its purchase of the Bronzewing Project in September 2009 with re-commissioning of the processing plant taking place in April 2010, with the first gold poured on 21 April 2010.
