RISERS

Digital Globe Services (LON:DGS) up 15% to 58.5p. Shares rose on the back of upbeat first half results, trading in the first half was “strongest to date”.

Environmental Recycling Technologies (LON:ENRT) up 10% to 0.08p. The company issued 90mln shares after former chairman Ken Brooks agreed to take shares instead, raising his stake to 12%.

Union Jack Oil (LON:UJO) up 13% to 14p. Higher for a second day after drilling of conventional well at Laughton in Lincolnshire gets underway.

FALLERS

Imaginatik (LON:IMTK) down 18% to 1.75p. No news today but stock has been falling steadily recently and has shed around 70% since July last year.

Frontier Resources (LON:FRI) down 32% to 0.07p. Share price continues to slide after yesterday’s one-for-one warrant issue at 0.03p.

Aquatic Foods Group (LON:AFG) down 13% to 13p. Steady faller recently. Finance director resigned at start of February.

RISERS

Solo Oil (LON:SOLO) up 13% to 0.31p. One of the Horse Hill consortium and up strongly on the back of the successful flow test from the well near Gatwick.

Hornby (LON:HRN) up 13% to 37.9p. More gains following chief executive’s departure yesterday after another disappointing trading update.

Spectris (LON:SXS) up 8% to 1,635p.Instruments group posted reassuring full year statement with sales edging up though earning fell.

FALLERS

88 Energy (LON:88E) down 19% to 1.99p. Shares ease back after doubling Monday on confident update from Alaskan shale exploration.

ValiRx (LON:VAL) down 10% to 14p.  Further group of patients receiving VAL201 prostate cancer treatment have completed the clinical trial dosing sequence with no significant adverse effects.

Anglo American (LON:AAL) down 5% to 372p. More retrenchment and heavy losses. Moody’s rating downgrade overnight.

The Horse Hill Mob: UK Oil & Gas (LON:UKOG), up 41.1%; Alba Minerals (LON:ALBA), up 38.9%; Evocutis (LON:EVO), up 20.0%.

Flows at the Horse Hill discovery well exceeded expectations. Stakeholders include UKOG, Alba, Stellar Resources, Solo Oil, Doriemus and Evocutis.

FALLERS

Tertiary Minerals (LON:TYM), down 15.1%. Fluorspar mining firm Tertiary Minerals said fourth phase drilling at its MB project in Nevada had increased the size of the deposit.

Hargreaves Services (LON:HSP), down 8.8%. The solid fuel provider reported a 82% drop in pre-tax profit and that it was cutting its dividend by 83%.

Filtronic (LON:FTC), down 6.4%. After yesterday's good news of a contract win, today;s bad news comes in the form of a disappointing set of interim results. The microwave electronics products developer saw half-year revenue slump to £4.3mln from £7.3mln the year before.
