Turnover at the group increased to £1.67 million (14 months to December 2006: £1.1 million) while losses before tax narrowed to £0.41 million, in line with expectations.

On the operational front, the Company said that it integration of its bolt on acquisition in Ireland had gone smoothly, and generated “some exciting opportunities”. Overall, Executive Chairman Barrie Whipp summarised a year of good progress and confirmed that the business had delivered on its goals since listing on AIM.

“We have controlled overheads, grown our revenues and, more importantly, increased our contracted, long-term subscriber base. The Directors are continuing to work hard to drive the business forward towards profitability and believe firmly that the market for our solutions is growing.”

Crimson Tide secures additional funding
In addition to the placing, the Company said it was also in "advanced" negotiations to secure a debt facility for up to £0.6 million to help finance its growth in contracted business. The financing would also include an option to subscribe for up 24.6 million shares at 1.2 pence.

The funds will be used for general working capital.

Crimson Tide secures two more contracts
The first contract, with Heatons, a 45 retail store chain in Ireland, will be to provide its 'retail professional' stock control system. The second contract win, with Irish accountancy firm Delandy Locke and Thorpe will cover the supply of 'audit professional', a tracking system designed to reduce time spend storing and searching for files using a barcode system.

For a complete range of organisations, we have the mobile technology and systems to provide real time information and to improve performance. Crimson Tide wins contract with Ski Club
Barrie Whipp, Chairman of Crimson Tide said:

"Whilst this process essentially worked, the Ski Club recognised that a more automated system would be faster and more efficient, and therefore bring cost savings. We are providing a Windows Mobile application based on the Motorola MC35 device. The system incorporates a number of process-based on-screen forms designed to capture information and display simple database queries such as members details."

mPro will provide a paperless, real-time auto generated website/smartphone system for tracking the repair and maintenance of Knight Frank managed premises.

Executive Chairman, Barrie Whipp commented:

Crimson Tide interims in line, outlook confident
Crimson Tide added that the second half of 2007 has started with good growth, that its Irish subsidiary had outperformed expectations, and that the company's sales team had been expanded to capitalise on additional opportunities.

"We have made great progress in the year to date and our customer base and revenues continue to grow. Our pipeline of new business is very exciting and I am confident of our future prospects". Added Barrie Whipp, Crimson Tide's Executive Chairman.

Crimson Tide said it aimed to integrate the technology into its own range of wireless and mobile solutions and use its own route to market to expand its footprint.

Two directors in Crimson Tide participated in the placing. Graham Ashley subscribed to 1 million shares, or £20,000, giving him a total interest of 5.84% of the issued capital. Rowley Ager subscribed to 1.36 million shares, or £27,200, giving him a total interest of 2.19% of the issued capital.
