Corazon Mining Limited (ASX: CZN) is a Perth-based base metals explorer exploring two quality projects - the Mt Gilmore Co-Cu-Au Sulphide Project in New South Wales, host to the outstanding Cobalt Ridge deposit, and the entire Lynn Lake Ni-Cu-Co Mining Centre in Canada.

Mt Gilmore, NSW

Mt Gilmore Cobalt-Copper-Gold Project, NSW – Australia

Project overview

The Mt Gilmore Cobalt-Copper-Gold Project (Mt Gilmore) is located 35 kilometres from the city of Grafton in north-eastern New South Wales (NSW), and is host to the unique, high-grade, cobalt-dominant Cobalt Ridge Deposit (Cobalt Ridge). Corazon owns an 80% interest in Mt Gilmore and is managing and sole funding exploration until any future decision to mine is made.

Lynn Lake

Lynn Lake Nickel-Copper-Sulphide Project, Manitoba – Canada

Corazon has announced high-grade assay results from its latest phase of drilling at its 100% owned Lynn Lake Project (ASX announcement 01 May 2020).

Highlights:

  • Drilling at the “A Orebody” within the Lynn Lake Mining Centre has intersected further significant near-surface sulphide mineralisation
  • Mineralised high-grade nickel intervals include:
  • 37 m @ 1.34%Ni, 0.50%Cu, 0.040%Co from 8 metres; including
  • 8.35 m @ 2.36%Ni, 0.66%Cu, 0.063%Co from 17 metres; and
  • 21 m @ 0.67%Ni, 0.50%Cu, 0.020%Co from 8 metres
  • Broad zones of near surface mineralisation define the potential for an open-pit mining operation at Lynn Lake
  • Drilling at the Fraser Lake Complex has paused due to high levels of temporary/seasonal surface water from spring meltwater

Hole FLC2020-22 has been drilled to the top of the geophysical target – approximately 400 meters below surface
Sulphide content is increasing with depth towards the geophysical target
The base of the target is interpreted to be approximately 500 metres below surface
Current plans are focused on the recommencement of drilling of FLC2020-22 once the meltwaters recede
