Azure Minerals (ASX:AZS) has provided an update on the Promontorio Project in Mexico, where Kennecott Exploration Mexico S.A. de C. V. has elected not to complete the Stage 2 commitments of the earn-in and joint venture agreement required to earn a 51% interest.
Azure Minerals (ASX:AZS) has been advised by Minera Teck S.A. de C.V., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Teck Resources Limited, that Teck intends to exercise its right to earn back an ownership interest in the Alacrán Project in Mexico.
Azure Minerals (ASX:AZS) has been granted a voluntary suspension by the ASX, which follows an earlier trading halt, to provide details regarding the back-in right over the Alacran Project, which is located in Mexico.
