The Alaska-focussed explorer is preparing to restart the Icewine-2 well testing programme which aims to be a commercial test of the HRZ shale discovery
Investors are crossing days off the calendar as the second half of the Icewine-2 well programme looms following the arctic winter in Alaska
The programme aims to 'firm up' future exploration well locations and could support a new farm-out effort.
“The leasing strategy has been designed to strike a balance between this confidence and available capital whilst we build towards completion of the flowback and production testing of the Icewine#2 well in 1H 2018."
The Icewine project was put into hibernation over the Alaskan winter but production testing is due to resume in the coming weeks
“Regional exploration programmes will continue to assess identified tungsten and gold prospects and advance them to the drill ready stage,” the company said
The explorer's relaunch marked another milestone as it confirmed the capital raise
The company has grown its coal bed methane reserves base whilst working to retender for Botswana's gas-to-power projects
