Rathdowney Resources

Rathdowney Resources, associated with Hunter Dickinson Inc. (HDI), is a mineral exploration and development company focused on finding and developing the next generation of base metal deposits in the ore fields of Poland and Ireland.

In Poland, Rathdowney has acquired an outstanding portfolio of brownfield exploration projects in a historic mining area with excellent infrastructure.  Historic work indicates the presence of substantial zinc-lead deposits on Rathdowney’s exploration licenses.

In Ireland, Rathdowney has assembled a large land position consisting of 10 project areas, in which the company has conducted extensive early stage exploration, successfully identifying over 40 highly prospective drill-ready zinc-lead targets.

Overview

Rathdowney project-areas are located in rich zinc-lead districts of Poland and Ireland.

In Poland, the company has been granted two concession licenses, and applied for a third license in the Upper Silesian Mining District. Rathdowney owns a 100% interest in the licenses (upon grant), known as Project Olza, through its wholly owned subsidiary Rathdowney Polska. The Upper Silesian Mining District is a world-class district of Mississippi Valley-type zinc-lead deposits. Rathdowney's properties have seen previous work by Polish State surveys, and are known to host high-grade mineralization. An extensive program of resource verification and exploration drilling began in June 2011.

In Ireland, Rathdowney has assembled an extensive land portfolio for lead and zinc exploration. Through its subsidiary, Mayfly Resources, the company has acquired more than 1,600 square km of ground in the mineral-rich Irish Midlands. Extensive early stage exploration over the past two years has established a number of drill-ready targets. Drill testing commenced in April 2011.
