Achmmach Tin Project

Kasbah has an 100% interest in the Achmmach Tin Project. The project is covered by two Exploitation Permits (PE 2912 and PE 193172) covering an aggregate area of 32 square kilometres at Achmmach. The project is currently in pre-feasibility and subject to a positive outcome from the feasibility study, Kasbah intends to progress with the full development of the Achmmach Tin Project.

Achmmach is a hard rock tin oxide (SnO2) orebody, has a growing JORC resource and represents one of the largest undeveloped tin deposits in the world.

Achmmach is located on the western edge of the El Hajeb province, approximately 140km southeast of the Moroccan capital, Rabat. This district contains a wide zone of tin bearing structures extending for 8km in a north-northeast direction, from Bou El Jai to Achmmach.

From 1991 onwards, the BRPM undertook an extensive exploration and evaluation work program on Achmmach, which included regional and project scale geological mapping, soil geochemistry, gravity surveying, surface trenching, 33 diamond drill holes totalling 14,463m, a 85 metre deep exploratory shaft with 827 metres of underground drives, an underground bulk sampling program and metallurgical test work.

To October 2010 Kasbah has drilled in excess of 20,000m and has defined 7Mt of ore at 0.8% Sn (at a 0.5% Sn cut off). The company released a scoping study on a potential underground development at Achmmach in October 2010.

Tamlalt Gold Project

Kasbah has 100% ownership of the Tamlalt gold deposit, located at the eastern end of the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains, about 300 km south of the town of Oujda. The Tamlalt gold deposit mining property is covered by eight exploration permits covering a total surface area of 128 km2.

At Tamlalt ONHYM has completed preliminary exploration work including 33 diamond drill holes totaling 7,019m. The ONHYM drilling shows that the Tamlalt deposit consists of a multiple-veined quartz system developed within a chlorite-sericite altered folded porphyritic body. Within the 400m of strike length that has so far been drill-tested, gold mineralization has been intersected to within 12m of the surface and to a maximum depth of 360m vertical from surface.
