Moly Mines is an ASX and TSX listed resources company focussing on the development of base metals projects including the world class Spinifex Ridge Molybdenum Project.

Spinifex Ridge is the worlds leading undeveloped primary molybdenum deposit and is ready for financing. All material development approvals have been received and construction of many of the major long lead items is nearing completion.

In March 2004 Moly Mines acquired its initial interest in the Spinifex Ridge Molybdenum Project and in May 2006 completed the 100% acquisition of the project.

Located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, Spinifex Ridge is fully permitted and ready for immediate development subject to achieving a successful project financing. Spinifex Ridge Fe

Four areas of iron ore mineralization have been identified within the mining leases granted and acquired for the Spinifex Ridge Molybdenum Project.

They are known as Auton, Auton North East, Dalek and Gallifrey (Iron Ore Project), and lies 500m to the east of the Spinifex Ridge Molybdenum-Copper Resource.

Glen Eden Mo

The Glen Eden project is located north east of Glen Innes in the New England Tablelands of NSW. It was mined as a series of small-scale, high-grade quartz veins that yielded 26 tonnes of wolframite concentrate from selective mining between 1920 and 1940.

Mt Tennyson Mo

The Mt Tennyson project is located east of Bathurst in central NSW. The Mt Tennyson skarn deposit was first mined as a series of small-scale, high-grade, garnet rich veins until 1945 on cessation of World War II.

The project area is characterised by a large broad anticlinal structure of metamorphosed, calcareous sediments overlying a granite batholith. The granite intrusion has resulted in a garnet-quartz-calcite-diopside skarn unit overlying a wollastonite-garnet-diopside quartz skarn. Molybdenum mineralisation is preferentially concentrated in the upper skarn.
