Plato Gold Corp. is a junior Canadian exploration company that is focused on prospective properties in recognized gold mining districts around the world. The company is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "PGC". Plato currently holds a portfolio of properties in significant gold mining camps in Northern Ontario (2,473 ha), Northern Quebec (5,430 ha), and Santa Cruz, Argentina (29,904 ha). Plato provides an attractive platform of prospective properties with qualified people in an established and active mining area.
Current Operations:
Plato currently has three active projects in various stages of exploration. They are referred to as the Timmins Gold Project, the Val d'Or Project and the Lolita Project.
The Timmins Gold Project, formerly referred to as the Guibord, Harker, Holloway and Marriott Project, are located in the Timmins-Kirkland Lake area in the western portion of the prolific Abitibi Greenstone Belt. In 2007, the Harker-Garrison claims were added to the project.

The Val d'Or Project started in 2006 as the Nordeau Bateman Project as a result of an options agreement to acquire 100% interest in the 44 claims. Since then, as of February 2008, the company has acquired a total of 266 claims in the area representing 5,430 hectares strategically located adjacent to a number of historic gold deposits and past producing mines in the Val d’Or gold camp in Northern Quebec.

The Lolita Project is the result of a joint venture agreement in 2007 with Dr. Paul Lhotka to acquire, through staking, 29,904 hectares known as the Lolita Property in the province of Santa Cruz in south-central Argentina.
The Province of Santa Cruz in Argentina has emerged as one of the most successful jurisdictions for mineral exploration in South America. It has attracted interest from junior and senior exploration companies worldwide resulting in the construction of four new precious metal mines.

Management
Anthony Cohen, President and Director. Mr. Cohen is also the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Gulf & Pacific Equities Corp., a publicly listed real estate company. He was a Director of Gendis Inc., a public merchandising and energy company, and was also a Director of Chauvco Resources Ltd., a public oil and gas company. He received a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration degree from Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska.
Luis' background includes experience in the investment industry in Corporate Finance and as a Mergers and Acquisitions specialist, at BMO Nesbitt Burns. He subsequently spent several years with Mercer Human Resource Consulting where he rose to the position of Senior Principal in their Global Executive Compensation Group, and has also been Vice President of Compensation for one of Canada's largest corporations. Luis also co-founded Canada's first independent executive compensation advisory firm and built it into Canada's largest. Luis has worked extensively with some of Canada's most well respected companies in the areas of executive compensation and corporate governance. Most recently, Luis was National Practice Leader, Executive Compensation for Hay Group in Canada, and a member of the firm's Executive Management Committee and Global Practice Leadership Group.
Luis graduated with high distinction from the Richard Ivey School of Business with both Honours and Masters Business Administration degrees, and has attended the Harvard Business School's Executive Development Program. He is a faculty member of the Directors' College and a frequent speaker at professional conferences, national television, syndicated radio and writes extensively on all aspects of executive compensation. Luis is also a Director of the Board of Ornge (Ontario Air Ambulance Services) and Chair of its Compensation and Governance Committee.
John H. Paterson, Director, is a mining engineer who brings with him a diversity of experience with both major and junior mining companies. As a mining consultant, Mr. Paterson has overseen the development of heap leach gold mines in the Ivory Coast, Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras. Mr. Paterson also serves on the Board of Northwest Mining Corporation, Everton Resources Inc., and Onsino Capital Corp.
Robert E. Van Tassell, Corporate Secretary and Director, currently serves as a Director of Lexam Explorations Inc and Rupert Resources, both junior mining companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. He is also a Director of Yukon Gold Corp, listed on the TSE and NASDAQ and Amazon Goldsands Ltd., listed on the NASDAQ and Constitution Mining Corp, listed on the OTC Bulletin Board and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. From 1982 to 1998 he served as Vice President Exploration for Goldcorp Inc. Mr Van Tassell has a BA degree in Geology from Mount Allison University.
