Sandfire Resources in trading halt for resource upgrade

Sandfire Resources (ASX: SFR) has requested a trading halt pending release of an announcement about a mineral resource upgrade.
The halt will last until an announcement is made or commencement of trading on Tuesday 7th September 2010.
On July 19 $570m-capped Sandfire lifted the JORC resource at its 100%-owned DeGrussa VMS Copper-Gold Project in Western Australia by 35% to 9.62 million tonnes grading 5.5% copper, 1.8g/t gold and 14g/t silver, containing 533,000 tonnes of copper, 559,000 ounces of gold, 4.3Moz of silver.
