Black Fire Minerals appoints Michael Clifford as Non‐Executive Director

Black Fire Minerals (ASX: BFE) has announced the appointment of Michael (Mick) Clifford as a Non‐Executive Director of the company.

Clifford is a geologist with over 22 years experience in the mineral exploration and mining industry. Most recently he was Managing Director of PacMag Metals (ASX: PMH) which, under his direction, grew from a reverse takeover in 2005 to a $45 million market capitalisation in June 2010, when the company was successfully merged with TSX listed Entrée Gold Inc.

Prior to Clifford’s involvement with PacMag, he was Exploration Manager ‐ Australia for AngloGold Ashanti Limited, where teams under his leadership were successful in the discovery of the Sickle and Tropicana gold deposits in Western Australia.

Simon Rigby, managing director, said “I am delighted that Black Fire has been able to attract a geologist of Mick’s calibre as a Director of the company. His experience as a successful exploration geologist and company managing director adds additional strength to the Board as the company seeks to grow its asset base."
