Kent Exploration completes drilling program at Flagstaff gold and silver prospect, Washington State

Kent Exploration Inc (TSX-V: KEX) said it has completed the 1,300 foot diamond drilling program on its 100 percent optioned Flagstaff gold/silver/zinc/barite prospect in north-east Washington state. Upon completion of core logging and splitting, the samples will be submitted for assay.

Kent Exploration is building a portfolio of properties highly prospective for gold and silver, base metals and coal mineralization in the western US western Canada, New Zealand and Australia.

It has an option agreement to earn 100 percent of Teck Australia’s  interest in Chalice Gold Mines Ltd's Gnaweeda gold project in West Australia and has acquired the Alexander River, Paparoa and Lyell gold projects in the highly prolific Reefton gold field in New Zealand.

The company has an option to earn a 100 percent interest in the Silver Hills property, a silver/lead/zinc prospect in south-eastern British Columbia, and has a 100 percent interest in the Courtney Lake property, a silver/lead/zinc prospect in north-east Saskatchewan.

Kent also has a 100 percent interest in coal prospecting permits covering approximately 92,000 hectares in east-central Saskatchewan, a 100 percent interest in the mining lease option on the Ivanhoe Creek property, a Midas-style gold/silver target in Nevada's Carlin Trend, and 50 percent of the Ivanhoe Creek placer claims covering a bentonite deposit.
