China Energy Recovery Inc (OTCBB: CGYV) said it completed two waste heat recovery systems for Chinese phosphate fertilizer producer Hubei Yangfeng Group, with a total contract value of approximately US$1.42 million.
The systems are designed to generate 120 tons of steam per hour, which translates into nearly 24 MegaWatts of thermo power generation capacity. These systems will help Yangfeng achieve an estimated annual saving of up to 57,100 tons of coal equivalent and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 151,700 tons.
"We are very pleased to have completed these waste heat recovery systems for Yangfeng, which is an important repeat customer of CER," said chairman and CEO Qinghuan Wu.
At the end of September, the company announced it had won a US$5.05 million engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for a heat recovery system from Hubei Sanning Chemical, a fertilizer and coal chemical subsidiary of Jincheng Coal Group, a top-10 Chinese coal producer.
That order followed a US$4.47 million EPC deal announced earlier that month to build a sulfuric acid plant with built-in waste heat recovery system for Tianjin Qinfa Chemical a subsidiary of Tianjin Bohai Chemical Group.
