Cluff Gold on track to produce 100,000 oz in 2009

Cluff Gold PLC said it is on track to produce an estimated 100,000 ounces of gold in 2009 and expects to generate positive cash flow in the second half of this year that will allow the group to advance development of its flagship Baomahun gold project in Sierra Leone.

In a statement following its AGM which approved the planned placing of 20.2 million shares at 40 pence each, Cluff said the money raised will be used to progress an accelerated drilling programme at Baomahu, to increase production at the Kalsaka mine in Burkina Faso, and to provide working capital.
