Sirius Minerals (LON:SXX) will provide information on the various issues raised from the statutory consultation process for its application for the York potash project in January next year, it said.
There are relatively few but important issues that remain outstanding from the process- all of which the potash developer reckons can be resolved positively.
The process has seen strong support from government, cross-party MPs, economic bodies and parish councils, the firm highlighted.
Among the key points, the Highways Agency has confirmed no objection and the Ministry of Defence also has no objection on the basis of certain conditions being adopted.
The Environment Agency (EA) has submitted a detailed letter containing one objection concerning the disposal of fould water.
The company's consultants had already been working on this issue and, based on discussions with the EA, believe that the simple solution proposed will lead to this objection being withdrawn.
An objection from Natural England relates only to the visual impact during the project's construction. This is an issue for the local authorities to balance against the benefits of the project and also to consider in the context of mitigation proposals, said Sirius.
So far, there have been more than 550 representations from members of the public or other interested parties, which have been published on the North York Moors National Park Authority.
These letters continues to show a very strong support with over 96% supportive, said Sirius.
A supplementary environmental information (SEI) will be submitted next month, when it is expected that both local authorities will run a re-consultation process, normally for 21 days, on that information.
Dates for both the committee meetings and when the planning officers' recommendations will be published have not yet been confirmed, Sirius said.
