Specialty chemicals development company Alexium International Group (ASX:AJX) has been granted an ASX trading halt.
The halt was requested pending an announcement concerning contracts, and will remain in place until the earlier of the announcement being released to the market or the commencement of normal trade on Wednesday, 10 December 2014.
Recently, chief executive officer Nicholas Clark travelled to Washington to educate legislators and regulators about the innovative and environmentally friendly flame retardant applications being developed by Alexium.
The trip follows on from visits to Alexium’s Greer, SC, facility by Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC) and Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-SC), both of whom saw demonstrations of Alexium’s innovative products.
