Dr Ian Thompson has been hired as client integration director at StatPro (LON:SOG), the provider of analytics software for the investment industry.
He will work closely with the product development teams to provide a smooth transition to the StatPro R+ and StatPro Revolution products.
Thompson comes from Bi-Sam where he was the executive regional director for Asia Pacific and has more than 27 years' experience working in the asset management sector and more than 23 years in performance measurement.
He is widely recognised as an industry expert in investment performance analysis.

City firm Panmure Gordon said Dr Thompson’s appointment reflects how important the next 12 months will be for the company’s transition to a Cloud-based platform.
