ZincOx (LON:ZOX) is to split the roles of chairman and chief executive officer, as per its agreement with major investor, the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

Andrew Woollett will concentrate on his chief executive duties, while Dr Rod Beddows becomes interim non-executive chairman.

Dr Beddows was previously ZincOx’s deputy chairman. He was appointed to the ZincOx board in February 2008, chairs the Nomination Committee and also sits on the Remuneration Committee.

"As we complete the ramp-up to full production at the Korean Recycling Plant, we are beginning to focus on reshaping the board to reflect the changing priorities and growth strategy of the company,” said Woollett.
