Bathurst Resources (ASX: BTU) has announced the placement of 12.5 million ordinary shares at 8 cents each to sophisticated investors to raise $1,000,000 before costs of the issue.
Bathurst Resources, based in Perth, WA, was formed for the purpose of identifying and acquiring projects in the resources sector which have the potential to substantially increase the value of the company and in turn increase the value of its shares.
The company said it will continue to recruit professionals to assist in building its portfolio of resource assets, both within and outside the area of the company’s existing projects.
