Tangiers Petroleum not taking over Jacka Resources

Tangiers Petroleum (LON:TPET) has confirmed that it will not be taking over Jacka Resources, as its bid has now lapsed.

The deadline passed at 7:00am on Tuesday in Sydney, and the minimum level of acceptances was not reached.

Those investors that had accepted the offer are now free to manage their securities as they see fit, as the holdings have now been released by Tangiers' bid agent.
