Toumaz (LON:TMZ), which designs chips for digital radios, has been awarded the NMI’s product excellence award for its Venice 6.5 dual-band connected consumer audio module.
The prize recognises its innovative design, reducing energy consumption “without compromising end-user functionality”.
NMI is the UK trade association representing the Electronic Systems, Microelectronics and Semiconductor Communities.
Chief executive Anthony Sethill said: “This is a great endorsement of the quality and functionality of our connected audio Venice module.
“We are pleased that our innovative technology and ability to develop and produce such high-quality solutions is recognised by our industry.”
Toumaz shares dipped to 4.3p each on Monday.
