Kalimantan Gold appoints mining finance specialist as non-exec

Kalimantan Gold (LON:KLG, CVE:KLG) has appointed a mining finance specialist with experience at several junior companies in Australia to its board as its independent non-exec.

Francis Xavier De Souza will also sit on the audit committee of the Indonesia-focused copper and gold explorer.

De Souza has 12 years’ experience in financial services, especially in corporate advisory and equity markets, working at companies such as Citigroup. He is also the founder and director of financial advisory firm Otsana Capital.

He is currently director of Australian listed Epic Resources, Conto Resources and Emergent Resources, all junior exploration companies with projects in Australia.

Kalimantan has two projects; the KSK copper property in Central Kalimantan, and the Jelai gold licence in East Kalimantan.
