Linc Energy speeds past oil production milestone of 6,000 barrels per day

Linc Energy (ASX: LNC) has made strong progress with its gross production reaching 6,307 barrels per day of oil as of 31 December 2012.

This represents a tripling in production in less than 12 months and breaks past its 6,000bpd production milestone.

Linc has also enjoyed a drilling success rate of 90% over the past two quarters and is poised to post further growth.

This will be achieved through continued active drilling the Gulf Coast with six active rigs drilling new wells and recompletions.

It is also on track to spud the first well at its Umiat project in Alaska this month.
