Emerging copper company Sandfire Resources NL (ASX: SFR) has received assay results from Conductor 4, located immediately adjacent to the DeGrussa and Conductor 1 deposits, indicating potential for a high grade Volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) deposit.

Further drilling is underway to test down-plunge extensions of Conductor 4 deposit, which is 200 metres east of DeGrussa.

Assay results have also been received from a further eight drill holes at Conductor 1, confirming the high-grade and broad widths of mineralisation within this deposit including: 6.8m @ 10.9% Cu, 3.4g/t Au and 23.3m @ 3.4% Cu, 1.5g/t Au (DGDD-039); 37.6m @ 3.0% Cu, 1.8g/t Au (DGDD-041) and 23.4m @ 4.1% Cu, 1.4g/t Au (DGDD-045).
