Russia-focused oil and gas explorer and producer Urals Energy (LON:UEN) has issued 4,059,112 ordinary shares as part of its restricted stock plan, with three executive directors taking approximately 3.2 million of the shares.
Chief executive Alexei Maximov has added 1,466,518 shares to his holding and he now controls 3,332,036 shares, or 1.34 percent of the issued share capital.
Executive chairman Leonid Dyachenko increased his holding by 864,198 shares to 5,021,277, and now has a 2.01 percent stake.
Executive director Aleksey Ogarev took the same amount of new shares as Dyachenko and now holds 2,671,205 shares, or 1.07 percent of the capital.
The company operates on the Arcticneft licence in the Barents Sea and on the Petrosakh licence on the eastern coast of Sakhalin Island.
