Chief executive of Telit Communication (LON:TCM) Oozi Cats has bought 50,000 company shares, it was revealed today.
Yesterday, Cats bought 50,000 shares at 51 pence each for £25,500.
Telit, a specialist in wireless machine-to-machine communications (M2M), said following the purchase, he now owns around 3.48 million shares in the firm - or around 3.38 per cent of the company.
The firm also said Cats has an interest in 15.6 million shares owned by Boostt B.V., in which he holds a 50 per cent interest, and in 1.25 mln shares owned by parties holding the other 50 per cent of Boostt.
In total, he is now interested in around 20.33 mln shares, or 19.77 per cent of the issued share capital and total voting rights of the company.
Machine-to-machine (M2M) wirelessly connects devices to a network to enable monitoring of real-time information for a range of equipment.
Uses include monitoring data from vending machines, trucks and heart monitors.
