NewSat secures US$13 million Middle East satellite capacity contract

NewSat (ASX: NWT) has signed a US$13 million contract to provide satellite transmission capacity over the Middle East.

The three year contract is with a leading United States based communications company which is a major supplier to the U.S. Government and large global enterprises.

Details of the client cannot be released, however it is an existing long-term NewSat teleport customer with growing business in the Middle East, where satellite bandwidth is scarce.

This agreement takes NewSat’s total binding pre-launch contracts to US$571 million.
