KUTh Energy appraises clean energy in Vanuatu
KUTh Energy (ASX:KEN) is hoping to turn its geothermal prospects on the island of Efate in Vanuatu into an economic renewable energy source for the country.
Vanuatu offers a small but high priced market where a geothermal indigenous resource play has real competitive advantage, the Sydney-based geothermal hopeful claimed.
In addition, the Vanuatu Government was responsive to the development of geothermal energy as an alternative to existing diesel operations and development bank financing strategies were supportive of clean energy initiatives in the Pacific.
KUTh is in the process of reviewing legacy data accessible for its tenements with a view to initiating early stage exploration programs.
