Quintessential Resources intersects 0.65m at 27.8g/t gold at Tekem

Quintessential Resources (ASX: QRL) has received further high grade gold assays from the Tekem prospect in Papua New Guinea.
The third diamond drill hole at Tekem intersected a peak result of 0.65 metres at 27.8 grams per tonne (g/t) gold along with 1 metre at 25.4g/t gold within a broader intersection.
Assays included:
- 3.8 metres at 11.84g/t gold from 22.2 metres;
- 51.6 metres at 1.16g/t gold from surface, including 23.3 metres at 2.38g/t gold; and
- 5.2 metres at 0.58g/t gold from 25 metres.
The peak gold assay also contained 60g/t silver.
Five diamond holes have been drilled to date at Tekem, with assays for the latter two pending.
Results from the first two drill holes at Tekem included notable intersections of 2.2 metres at 7.3g/t gold from 43.2 metres and 2.1 metres at 8.1g/t gold from 63.5 metres.
To date, results have identified three discrete zones of high grade gold mineralisation
The latest hole has mineralisation of more than 0.1g/t gold from surface to about 51.6 metres, with an average overall grade of 1.16g/t gold.
