Integra Mining (ASX: IGR) has increased the production level potential at the Randalls gold project after some additional high grade gold hits at the satellite Santa area.
Gold production from the project is forecast at an annualised rate of 90,000 gold ounces, before increasing to 140,000 ounces.
The latest gold discoveries confirm potential for both high-grade open pit and underground production from Santa, which is located just 16 kilometres east of the Salt Creek gold processing facility.
Highlights included; 5 metres at 18.59 (grams per tonne) g/t gold from 148 metres, and 6 metres at 6.85g/t gold from 136 metres.
There were also lower grade but much wider hits, including; 19.30 metres at 2.82g/t gold from 103 metres, and 22 metres at 2.72g/t gold from 79 metres.
Adding to these resources is further good news for the company with the commissioning of the new processing facility at Randalls nearing completion, with ore processing underway.
Integra will commence trial underground mining at the nearby Cock-eyed Bob deposit later this year.
