IMX Resources and Continental Nickel JV hit high grade nickel in Tanzania

IMX Resources (ASX: IXR) has hit some high grade nickel sulphides at the Nachingwea JV with Continental Nickel (CVE: CNI) in Tanzania.

Drilling highlights include; 0.6 metres at 14.45% nickel, 0.40% copper and 0.20% cobalt from 218 metres, within a wider; 17.25 metre interval of 2.28% nickel, 0.57% copper and 0.04% cobalt.

IMX said drilling confirmed the presence of sulphide mineralisation for at least a 500 metre strike length and up to 300 metres down dip.

The results are from the final six diamond drill hole from the phase 2 program at the Sleeping Giant zone.

IMX has a 25% stake, with Continental 75%.
