A follow-up drill program will commence once approvals have been received

Artemis Resources Ltd (ASX:ARV) has received its first assays from initial reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Ruth Well Nickel Copper Cobalt Project in Western Australia.

Results included 13 metres at 2.14% nickel, 1.19% copper, 0.07% cobalt, 0.6 g/t gold and 0.6 g/t palladium from 55 metres including 1 metre at 11.15% nickel.

Other highlights include 21 metres at 1.11% nickel, 0.88% copper, 0.05% cobalt from 30 metres and 11 metres at 0.85% nickel, 0.55% copper and 0.05% cobalt from 40 metres.

The initial 38-hole RC program totalled 2,838 metres and has identified nickel over a potential 3.5-kilometre long strike.

Closeby to the Radio Hill treatment plant

Notably, Ruth Well is located only 12 kilometres north of Artemis’s Radio Hill nickel-copper-cobalt treatment plant which is currently being upgraded and recommissioned.

The Ruth Well drilling results to date compliment recent drilling results from the Radio Hill nickel-copper-cobalt deposit where Artemis aims to grow a base metal resource base for the Radio Hill operations.

Further drilling planned

Further drilling will take place once required government approvals have been received.

An initial single diamond drill hole for 80 metres has also been completed and is being lithogically and geotechnically logged.
