Auris Minerals Ltd (ASX:AUR) has identified a number of robust anomalies across its tenements in the Bryah Basin of Western Australia.

Survey work across the Forrest, Cashmans and Horseshoe Well project areas has enabled the company to recognise the anomalies.

First pass analysis has been carried out on data produced from a major VTEM™ Max survey.

Gravity surveys also completed

Gravity surveys have also completed at Forrest (North) and Horseshoe projects.

Auris will receive the final VTEM data in the next three to four weeks and this will be reviewed in conjunction with other available data sets.

Auris CEO Wade Evans said: “We are pleased to have identified a number of robust anomalies in the preliminary VTEM data.

“We may expect more anomalies to be recognised in the fully processed data.

"Significant progress has also been made compiling the regional datasets which will be utilised alongside the new VTEM and gravity data to define new targets for testing.”

Review of historical data

Historical geochemical sampling data is being reviewed and new geochemical sampling programs are planned.

The VTEM and geochemical data will be combined and assessed in the context of a new geological interpretation of the western Bryah Basin, as part of an integrated targeting exercise.

Exploration efforts are focused on defining new copper-gold or gold targets for drill testing.

All previous work is being reviewed and assessed to ensure that no historical targets remain untested.

The company has consolidated a 1,350 square exploration portfolio in the Bryah Basin with five project areas – Forrest, Doolgunna, Morck’s Well, Cashmans and Horseshoe Well.
