The SkyHopper system allows users to control drones with a transmission range that exceeds five kilometres, providing reliable drone control and high definition video transmission.
Nearthlab’s solutions serve wind turbine inspection and security applications.
As drone applications for wind turbine inspection increase in popularity, Nearthlab plans to gain market share in the region with its unique autonomous platform.
As part of the design win, SkyHopper PRO has been successfully integrated into an autonomous drone platform that Nearthlab has developed for security applications in South Korea.
Each autonomous platform will utilise three SkyHopper PRO units.
SkyHopper PRO enables real-time full HD video, long-range line of sight control, broadcasting and multicasting to unlimited viewers and control by multiple controllers.
Nearthlab will partner with both SkyHopper PRO & the new SkyHopper PRO V products and therefore has the potential to generate substantial revenues for Mobilicom.
The company is already building momentum in the Asia-Pacific markets, recently securing a design win with Singapore based drone manufacturer Flare Dynamics.
As part of the design win SkyHopper’s newest product, SkyHopper PRO V, has been integrated into Flare’s new multirotor drone.
The drone has already won its first commercial contract with Singaporean National Agencies, with initial deployment starting in early 2018.
