Strategic Natural Resources plc (LON:SNRP) announced that finance director Elizabeth Shaw has today resigned with immediate effect. The board would like to thank Shaw for all her support during her time as FD, it said.
The group plans to appoint a new finance director in the near future and will make an announcement in due course.
Shaw's possible departure was already flagged last month in SNR's statement announcing that non-executive director Peter Earl left the board amid concerns about a conflict of interest with his CEO role at power generation company IPSA Group (LON:IPSA).
SNR said then it was in discussions with Shaw, who is also on the IPSA board, about her position.
