The 2,130 metre reverse circulation program has extended the main Trudi vein system to a potential strike length of almost 1 kilometre.
Mineralised intersections have also been obtained 600 metres to the east and 100 metres west of the original historical drilling.
The drilling returned high grade mineralisation of more than 5 g/t gold at the eastern part of the Gemma veins.
Mineralisation has also been intersected at other locations, including at the Grahame vein, an area west of the Catherine vein.
King River Copper is now reviewing geological information obtained during its 2017 exploration program.
The company is planning a petrological, geophysical and 3D structural review during the wet season.
This will assist in identifying possible litho-structural and geochemical controls on high grade mineralisation and to further develop its exploration model for drilling in 2018.
Exploration will recommence as soon as the Kimberley wet season subsides and tracks can be re-established into the area.
The Mt Remarkable Project is 200 kilometres southwest of Kununurra and is 100% owned by King River Copper.
The 1,000-plus metres of mineralised strike length of the Trudi vein system gives investors something to look forward to in April/May next year.
Recent assays that identify additional mineralised vein systems open up potential for repeats of the high grade shoots evident around most similar epithermal gold systems.
