Production has grown to 16.7 MMCFD and 350 BOPD, which the operator is continuing to lift as conditions allow towards target rates.
The well has capacity to increase production, with initial design capacity of the “B” platform facilities able to deliver up to 50 MMcfpd plus 1,000 bopd.
Logs from the discovery well indicate additional potential sands/reservoirs in the field and these untested sands will be targets of future drilling on the Hummer project.
The facilities were designed with space available on the deck to expand capacity and accommodate increased production from additional wells expected to be drilled from the “B” platform and any proximal well head platforms.
Participating working interests in the well have Petsec at 12.5% (10.7431% net revenue interest) with other private companies at 87.5%.
The Hummer Gas/Oil Field is located in the Gulf of Mexico circa 80 kilometres (50 miles) south-east of Venice, and is in around 65 metres (215 feet) of water.
