The school is located in Townsville and has 1,997 students and 222 teaching staff, making it the largest school in North Queensland.
Having undergone a major renovation over the last two years, the school has now moved from standalone direct expansion air-conditioning to a central chilled water plant.
Managing the school’s temperature and energy usage
Aeris has delivered a range of control and visualisation technologies, equipment and services for the management of the school’s temperature, lighting, ventilation, air quality and, importantly, energy usage.
This current third phase of the project is worth circa $100,000 to Aeris and has involved the company commissioning the new system, which it designed and programmed in the earlier phases.
Importantly, the company will have an ongoing relationship with both the project and its management team, providing cloud-based data visualisation, reporting and management.
Accelerating commercialisation globally
Aeris has invested over $40 million to date in technologies that are entering full commercial revenue scale up.
The company has signed with customers including government bodies, multi-national corporations, global facility managers and original equipment manufacturers.
Aeris recently contracted a relationship with Sodexo for the cleaning of on-site mining camps in Australia.
The first project, for one of the world's largest mining corporations, for circa $500,000 will be completed by H1 FY18.
