I Synergy Group launches e-learning system

I Synergy Group (ASX:IS3) has launched AJ Academy, an education system that comprises of both online and offline learning environments for users of its Affiliate Junction platform.

Affiliate Junction (AJ) is Malaysia’s leading affiliate marketing platform that was developed and is managed by I Synergy.

It is used by advertisers in the marketing industry to connect with affiliates and facilitate commission payments from the advertisers to the affiliates.

AJ Academy will complement the affiliate marketing platform’s existing training modules and seminars.

The company plans for the AJ Academy to be a complete learning centre that guides its affiliates through various learning modules.

AJ Academy details

The e-learning system’s modules will range from an introduction to affiliate marketing to application of digital marketing.

The modules are prepared in collaboration with a team of academics and researchers from the University of Technology, Malaysia.

At various stages of the learning program, there will be formal examinations conducted for the affiliates to ensure they acquire the right skill set and knowledge to be high-performing affiliate entrepreneurs.

This will result in performance enhancements and higher efficiency for the AJ platform, thus delivering increased value for all of the platform’s stakeholders.

What is affiliate marketing?

Affiliate marketing is a marketing practice that employs a systematic approach for advertisers to leverage and reward affiliates for each of their successful marketing efforts in reaching out to the intended target audience, resulting in a desired business lead.

Being purely performance-based is a key characteristic of affiliate marketing.

In other words, advertisers have to reward publishers only when the desired result from this marketing method is achieved.

Background

I Synergy raised $3.62 million through its initial public offering (IPO) which resulted in it listing on the ASX during late March 2017.

Funds raised in the IPO were earmarked for international expansion plans, developing new technologies and sales and marketing.

The company has set up regional offices in Australia and Indonesia and during June 2017 it made its first move to expand outside of Malaysia by launching its first affiliate program in Indonesia.

The company offers a number of programs through its Affiliate Junction platform including:

- MyKad Smart Shopper - incentives program targeting retail;
- SmartSaver – online shopping reward platform;
- Sports Access Network – targets sports industry;
- Retail Network – targets retail brands;
- GetDoc – targets health and wellness industry;
- OPPO – targets telecommunications industry; and
- Hot-Assist – an incentives program for affiliates.
