I Synergy Group (ASX:IS3) has shown the value of its retail affiliate program MyKad Smart Shopper (MSS) by posting some strong results.
MSS is a retail reward program that partners with retailers in order to drive sales by offering exclusive discounts and retail privileges to MSS members (consumers).
MYDIN, one of Malaysia’s leading chains of hypermarket, supermarket and emporiums, with more than 300 outlets operating nationwide became one of MSS’ advertisers in June 2017.
The collaboration has been a success, with the sales generated by MSS steadily increasing at an average rate of 120% monthly over the past 4 months to generate nearly $2 million in sales.
MYDIN is the first chain hypermarket that has joined MSS and the instant results generated have proven the effectiveness of the company’s affiliate marketing solutions, regardless of the size of the business.

Room to build the partnership
Currently, the MSS affiliate program applies to 12 of MYDIN’s participating outlets, however, MYDIN has over 300 outlets.

The company’s growth strategy also involves the expansion of its affiliate program offerings to cater to various new business segments and markets.
