Enertopia Corp (CNSX:TOP) says partner Genesis Water Technologies Inc has won the prestigious Water & Waste Digest`s top industrial water project award for the second year in a row.

GWT was chosen for its work on a wastewater project to remove toxic phenolic compounds among other contaminants in a petrochemical facility in Egypt.

“We are honoured to be recognized for this award," said Nick Nicholas, the technical manager for Genesis Water Technologies.

“We are excited to be partnering with Genesis Water Technologies in our lithium projects in Nevada, and I congratulate them on this important achievement," added Robert McAllister, chief executive of Enertopia.

The award is being presented today at the Water Environment Federation Technology Conference (WEFTEC) being held in Chicago.
