NioCorp Developments Ltd (TSE:NB), which is developing a huge superalloy project in Nebraska, has hired a finance specialist as a director.
Ms Nilsa Guerrero-Mahon currently serves as the vice-chair on the board at Centura Health Mountains & North Denver Operating Group, the largest division (US$1.5bn) in the Centura health care system.

She is also a gubernatorial appointed board member of the State of Colorado financial services commission.
She serves on Microsoft's council for digital good and is a lead mentor for Boomtown, an innovative and effective technology start-up accelerator.

Niocorp is developing a huge superalloy materials project called Elk Creek in southeast Nebraska that will produce niobium, scandium and titanium, and is poised to really put the US state on the map.
Up to 1,200 workers are likely to be needed at the peak of construction and it will cost C$1bn to construct and bring the facility into operation.
Once in production, the facility could support as many as 466 full-time jobs, with an average of C$39mln annual payroll, according to a feasibility study this year.
Shares advanced in Toronto 3.77% to C$0.55 each.
