The project is located 120 kilometres from the Agnew-Wiluna belt which hosts numerous world class nickel deposits.
St George’s EM survey is part of a new round of exploration activities and drilling scheduled for the project over the coming months.
The high-powered SAMSON EM survey will cover an area comprising 3 kilometres strike length of the Cathedrals Belt and an additional 1 kilometre strike across the Ida Fault.
This area extends westwards from the Investigators Prospect, where 14 drill holes have already intersected high grade nickel-copper-cobalt mineralisation.
The survey area includes the intersection of the Cathedrals Belt and the Ida Fault which may be an important regional geological control on the mineralised ultramafics within the project tenements.
A number of magnetic anomalies have been identified in the survey area from the airborne magnetic survey completed by St George in 2016.
Importantly, these magnetic anomalies have never been drilled and are priority exploration targets.
